Giving Back

Angled border

In recent months, our society has seen a monumental change unlike any most of us have ever experienced. The emergence of this pandemic around the world has created circumstances that more often than not can make it seem almost impossible to look on the brighter side. Our lives have been brought to a halt, and frankly that can be frightening in a lot of different ways. The impacts of this situation can be easily seen wherever we go. From empty city streets to grocery store shelves that seem to have been cleared off, there are a lot of things happening around us that can make someone’s outlook on the current state of affairs a negative one. Stories that are seen on the news of people hoarding necessary supplies or selfishly buying up all of the essential items from stores can often paint a bleak picture of this outbreak. These instances of greed can give us a pessimistic view on the world around us.

In spite of this, we need to recognize what is truly important right now. A focus must be kept on supporting our communities and lending a helping hand in any way that we still can to the people around us. At Optiline, we recognize the importance of good faith initiatives and the continual support of our community. It is because of this that we have done whatever we can to keep our employees and neighbors safe. Arguably one of the groups most impacted by Covid-19 as of now are our essential workers who courageously face challenges each day in order to make sure that the rest of us can stay strong and continue to look forward despite these conditions. We realize this which is why we have done what we can to support these people who have ultimately become heroes.

Recently, our founders, Tommy and Michael Bolduc, partnered with local businesses Parsons Ventures and Anagnost Companies as well as North Point Construction Management in order to supply local police and fire stations along with our construction sites with over 100 bottles of hand sanitizer as well as thousands of face masks, shields and gloves. Hygiene and general cleanliness is one of the most important ways that we can make sure that we are safe. We are dedicated to making the contributions that we can to help the community around us do a better job of this and help to protect our workers on the frontline. It is times like these that it matters the most.

I wanted to extend our appreciation for the framing and drywall work completed on our Marriner Mill project by Optiline Enterprises. The company performed very well and completed on time and budget. The Optiline office and field leadership was very responsive and attentive to our schedule and goals. Quality of the work performed was very good from start to finish. We will definitely reach out to Optiline Enterprises on any future project opportunities.
